The storage conditions of annealed steel wire mainly include the following aspects:
Environmental humidity control: Annealed steel wire should be stored in a dry and ventilated place to avoid being in a high humidity environment for a long time. Dehumidification equipment can be used or windows can be opened regularly for ventilation to maintain air circulation and reduce the impact of humidity on the steel wire. It is generally recommended to control the relative humidity of the air below 60%.
Avoid contact with corrosive substances: Annealed steel wire should be kept away from corrosive substances such as strong acids and alkalis to prevent these substances from volatilizing and contacting the steel wire, accelerating its rusting process. It is best to store the steel wire in a special area to avoid contact with these chemicals.
Neatly place: When storing, the steel wire should be coiled and placed on a shelf or bracket to prevent mutual entanglement and extrusion deformation. This is not only convenient for subsequent use, but also keeps the steel wire in good condition.
Regular inspection: Regularly check whether there is rust, deformation, etc. on the surface of the steel wire, and deal with problems in time to ensure good quality of the steel wire.
