Process flow of smooth steel wire
The production process of smooth steel wire mainly includes the following steps:
Raw material selection: The raw materials of smooth steel wire are usually high-quality carbon steel or alloy steel. When selecting materials, it is necessary to evaluate according to the purpose and mechanical performance requirements of the product to ensure that the raw materials meet the requirements.
Wire drawing: After the selected steel is heated to a suitable temperature, it is drawn by drawing machinery. After a series of processing, the size and surface finish requirements of the steel wire are finally met.
Pickling treatment: After the steel wire is drawn, a layer of oxide scale will be produced on the surface, affecting the appearance and quality. Therefore, pickling treatment is required to immerse the steel wire in an acidic environment for corrosion to remove the oxide scale.
Surface treatment: The steel wire is pickled, alkali washed, hev cleaned, etc. to remove the surface oxide layer and impurities. Then cold rolling is carried out to achieve a certain strength, size and surface quality.
Straightening, shearing, and winding : After pickling, the steel wire needs to be straightened, sheared, and wound to meet specific length and shape requirements .
Post-processing : Surface oiling or galvanizing to prevent rust and improve performance. Finally, packaging .
