Specifications of smooth wire rope
The main specifications of smooth wire rope include structure type and diameter range:
Structure type
Common structures include: 6×19+FC, 6×37+FC, 6×36WS+FC, 18×7+FC, 35W×7, 18×19S, 8×19S+NF, etc.
The combination of numbers in these models indicates the number of strands and the number of steel wires per strand. For example, "6×19" represents 6 strands, 19 steel wires per strand, and FC represents fiber core.
Diameter range
6×19 structure: The diameter covers 6.2mm to 28mm, including 6.2mm, 7.7mm, 9.3mm, 11mm, 12.5mm, 14mm, 15.5mm, 18.5mm, 24.5mm, 26mm, 28mm, etc.
6×37 structure: The diameter range is wider, from 8.7mm to 85mm, including 8.7mm, 11mm, 13mm, 15mm, 17.5mm, 19.5mm, 21.5mm, 24mm, 26mm, 28mm, 30mm, 32.5mm, 34.5mm, 36.5mm, 39mm, 43mm, 47mm, 50mm, 52mm, 60mm, 65mm, 70mm, 75mm, 80mm, 85mm, etc.
Surface state and tensile performance
The surface of the smooth steel wire rope is usually oiled (NAT means natural smooth surface state), and the tensile strength can reach 50MPa (note that the specific value may be adjusted due to the production process).
Wire ropes of different structural types are suitable for engineering hoisting, mine hoisting, cable car transportation and other scenarios, and the corresponding specifications can be selected according to the load requirements.
