Nickel, as a matrix element, provides good high temperature stability and corrosion resistance; chromium enhances oxidation resistance; cobalt improves strength and hardness; molybdenum further enhances corrosion resistance; aluminum and titanium form γ'(Ni₃(Al,Ti)) precipitation phase, which improves high temperature strength and creep resistance.

Haynes 25 high temperature alloy steel wire: Haynes 25 is a cobalt-based high temperature alloy, the main components of which include cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr), tungsten (W) and other elements, and may also contain a small amount of molybdenum (Mo), iron (Fe), aluminum (Al), titanium (Ti) and other elements. Its high chromium content provides a protective oxide layer, enhancing oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance; the face-centered cubic structure of the matrix gives it good plasticity and toughness.
